At Railway Children’s Day Nursery, we love to explore and go on exciting adventures! Our children regularly enjoy outings into the local countryside and visits to the nearby forest, where they can connect with nature and develop their curiosity. We’ve even been known to stop for lunch at the local tea rooms!

We’re fortunate to have The Spinney just up the road—a favourite spot where children go in search of the Gruffalo or cross the troll’s “clip-clack” bridge. These magical experiences spark imagination and storytelling.

Our outdoor adventures also support physical development, as children are encouraged to try new skills such as balancing, climbing, and exploring natural environments—all under the guidance of our experienced and caring team.
